We are recruiting for a Direct Touch Account Manager within the South East region to drive portfolio sales activity, pro-actively, inside a list of direct customers and to utilise Mitel services to implement solutions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate added value through regular engagement with the end user at different levels and show a true level of understanding in their business. This means for 4 days out of 5, on average, you will be visiting customer premises, working closely with them to achieve business objectives.

You will promote Mitel through meetings, presentations and other constant engagement, at the very least, quarterly business reviews for larger existing and potential future large customers.

You will utilise high-touch vertical leads to demonstrate market and vertical knowledge which will assist in showing value add and ensuring a preference for Mitel technology and a Mitel relationship moving forward.

The role also includes escalation support for reactive activity, potential service escalations including potentially support of annual or longer term service contracts, upselling where possible.

Key Responsibilities
*To be the key driver and accept ownership for bringing opportunities to closure and meeting assigned revenue objectives quarterly
*To drive the adoption of Mitel into the identified direct accounts through contact with end user senior management and technical influencers
*Ensure and protect a preference for Mitel technology inside identify direct accounts
*Win new product and service opportunities inside identified direct accounts
*Significantly increase the deployment of systems within the direct account base
*Develop and execute on revenue driven sales strategies and business plans
*To ensure that the benefits of the complete range of Mitel products are understood and communicated at all levels within the accounts
*To work either independently or in partnership with the High Touch and Contact Centre overlay teams to ensure Mitel's objectives are met
*To play a coordination role between Mitel, key customers and selected service teams
*To ensure that new product developments and beta program initiatives are quickly implemented and deployed in the key areas of the base and provide feedback to corporate product groups for future development
*Monitor the market, maintaining an awareness of competitor activity and recommending appropriate counter-measures which will enable Mitel to retain market leadership
*Ensure administrative activity (forecasting, account planning, sales documentation etc.) is completed to the required standards.
*Ensure that the Mitel brand is visible at appropriate customer events, further enhancing the credibility of our solutions and services

Desired Skills and Experience
*Extensive experience in relationship management and major account management experience in a professional organisation
*Experience in direct ICT/IPT solution sales to large accounts
*Exposure to indirect sales through channels
*Structured and strategic approach to business planning
*Experience of structured sales techniques spanning the entire sales cycle
*Commercially astute, with the ability to promote and sell the Mitel Networks offer
*Target driven, possessing passion and a commitment to exceed sales targets, and a proven track record of having done so
*Ability to identify potential wider scope opportunities and bring these deals to closure
*Articulate verbally and in writing, a good communicator and presenter
*Able to respond to requests for information, invitations to tender etc.
*Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels within and user prospects and clients
*Ability to show leadership when managing the potentially competing requirements of customers, the business and the technology
*Self-driven, motivated, high work rate and able to work remotely.
