My client is currently recruiting for a Facilities Management Assistant based in Brize Norton. This is a permanent full-time position paying £18,105 (and after probation £18,467.10)

Job Purpose
* Undertaking planned and reactive FM services within the facility, safely to the required timescales and standards.
* Providing an out of hours call out service as and when required.
* Working in a service team, with the client, ensuring tasks are undertaken promptly & effectively. Meeting or exceeding service standards such that FM Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) are achieved

Responsibilities
* Ensure FM activities are carried out safely, in compliance with the company H&S policies, best practice and legalisation.
* Ensure cleaning routines are completed in accordance with the cleaning programme and KPI's are met at all times.
* To deliver a response & Out of Hours service for adverse weather warnings. (salting, snow and ice clearance).
* Carry out waste management including collection, disposal and monitoring of contracted services.
* Provision of a general handyman and porterage service.
* Provide out of hours call out service as required.
* Carry out external litter clearing and cleaning as required.
* Carry out utility meter reading and reporting.
* Carry out/support Fire Alarm testing (weekly alarm tests).
* Carry out/support Emergency Light testing.
* Carry out water temperature reading in compliance with ACOP L8.
* Undertake low risk minor mechanical maintenance.
* Undertake low risk minor building and fabric maintenance/repair tasks.
* To provide escort to specialist contractors as required.
* To provide information to the FM Service Desk/Support Assistants on progress / completion of work.
* To maintain accurate FM activity works records and timesheets.
* To maintain good customer and supplier relations.
* To ensure compliance with all statutory legislation and working best practice.
