The Sales Associate (SA) provides support to a set of customers working with Account Executives (AE) and Account Managers (AM) by undertaking various sales activities that support customer needs, drive sales, and improve the overall productivity of the team. The SA will take a lead role in a variety of activities across the sales process which will enable AE's and AM's to spend more time in consultative sales engagements with their assigned accounts. This role will have performance objectives aligned to financial and other business metrics associated with the customers they support and will have a quarterly bonus tied to performance against those objectives in additional to a base salary.
Responsibilities:
*Act as an additional point of contact for customers and partners
*Be able to autonomously address customer requests in a timely fashion while engaging appropriate resources in the organisation as needed including the AE and/or AM.
oExamples of activities role will be engaged in are pricing/structuring deals, credit requests, proposal development, problem solving with customers.
*Engage with internal stakeholders, partners and end customers to communicate status or resolve issues arising during or after the sales cycle.
*Timely assistance and independent assessment in identifying/qualifying more complex sales tasks and routing them to the appropriate sales person
*Regular dialogue with Account Executives and Account Managers to provide updates on existing activities
*Capture and report information regarding customers and opportunities that meet the needs of the internal sales, marketing, delivery and finance stakeholders.
*Proactively follow up with partners and customers on proposals and of all required documentation in a timely manner
