An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Finance Analyst based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Port Sunlight, Wirral. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying up to £33,261 per annum. pro rata, depending on experience.

The job holder will be the one of the primary finance business analysts, supporting the activities of Information and Analytics (I&A) with Unilever ETS.
Using their finance and technical I&A knowledge, the successful candidate will support the I&A Organisation to drive savings and efficiency within the global strategy and I&A portfolio.
The I&A Finance Analyst role reports to the Finance Business Partner ETS for Information & Analytics.
The objective of the role is to support the ETS - Information and Analytics team Finance Team through:

* Developing business cases for Global innovations
* Assisting the Global Finance Business Partner in key innovation projects with financial analysis and strategic presentations
* Budget control (Projects and Departmental), keeping books properly updated, making and supporting accruals as well as dealing with regional networking solving budget, and expenses issues.
* Monitoring business performance and providing critical information and support to the I&A teams
Working with the ETS finance team on delivering I&A benefits across multiple Execs.
Supporting cross functional projects within ETS, and driving the financial performance of Information and Analytics

Key Accountabilities:
* Produce monthly results comments and analysis to enable the Global Teams to continuously understand the performance of the business
* Build reports, control and monitor Purchase Orders in the Ariba system
* Report quarterly budget forecast and ensure accuracy
* Communication with regional teams on all elated issues (accruals, fees, forecast dates, etc.)
* Provide variance analysis Actual vs budget (Projects, departments)
* Involvement in building and analysing Global Business Cases
* Generation of reports and information to assist decision-making
* Support the Finance Business partner on Financial issues
* Ad hoc analysis of I&A performance
* Assist the Global Finance Business Partner in key innovation projects with financial analysis and strategic presentations and ad hoc analysis
Supporting cross functional projects within ETS.

Key Interfaces:
Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:
* The candidate should ideally be of graduate calibre with demonstrable commercial experience.
* Professional qualifications: CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW part-qualified or equivalent would be preferred.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written), advanced Excel skills, presentation packages (PowerPoint), interrogating databases (financial systems and web-based systems).
* Critically, the successful applicant must have strong analytical and numerical ability and the ability to build relationships with an international & multicultural network and key stakeholders across different levels in the organisation. You must be comfortable working in a virtual environment. The candidate should have a high degree of maturity and self-confidence.
* Strong team commitment will be critical to deliver against the objectives of the role in a global business environment, together with the capability of holding people accountable. Passion for delivery, the ability to see the bigger picture and proactiveness in planning ahead is crucial.
