The new HR Project Manager/ Staffing Manager will drive the growth of our Employed Consultant (referred to as EC) service which is a key strategic pillar in Experis' future growth plans here in the UK. As our HR Project Manager/ Staffing Manager you will provide this valued model to a growing and impressive list of world class multinational IT and Engineering companies throughout the UK, many of whom have been staffing customers with us for 10 years or more.

With our unrivalled UK client portfolio, our HR Project Manager/ Staffing Manager supported by an extensive infrastructure will perpetually rotate our employed consultants into the most interesting and challenging projects in the UK.

The Employed Consultant Staffing Manager/ HR Project Manager position is a new multifaceted and high visibility role within our organisation. Whilst this is not a sales role is does require a passion for working directly with our clients and our deployed employed consultants. The role requires excellent communication skills and precision execution skills. The role involves interaction with every aspect and function within our business including HR, Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing and sourcing. The role also has regular board level interaction and contact.

This EC staffing Manager/ HR Project Manager role centres on the successful staff management of deployed Employed Consultants and on the ongoing delivery of successful engagement experiences and outcomes for our clients. Once a newly employed consultant has decided to join our organisation he/ she will become the responsibility of the EC staffing manager.

1.Employed Consultant (EC) 'in- service' Management

*Manage the on-boarding, appraisal and performance process for our EC population

2. EC Salary and Bonus Management

*Manage the salary and bonus review process, taking inputs from clients and market information provided by our dedicated market research and analytics team

3. EC Deployment and Bench Time Management

*Ensure that our offering is packaged in a way that optimises the attractiveness of our ECs to existing and new clients

4. Day to Day Governance and Oversight

*Oversee the work of the dedicated Senior EC administrator

5. HR Issue Management

*Work with our dedicated HR business partner on any HR issues that are non-standard and require a case management approach such as (but not limited to) grievance and disciplinary issues, health and safety issues, long term absenteeism.
*Review processes, procedures and contracts periodically with input from our HR business partner and from our in-house Manpower legal team

6. EC Training and Development

*The design, development and implementation of a bespoke A to B training plan - Graduate and mid-career programmes

We envisage that the role will grow considerably in scope and opportunity in line with our growth plans for the EC proposition and the Project Solutions business over the next 2 years. As we grow further we envisage that the successful candidate will build and manage a team of subordinates to take on the discreet components of the role described above.

The role could be based in either our Manchester (Altrincham) London (Moorgate), Solihull or central Bristol office. The role will involve frequent travel to meet our Clients and our deployed ECs in multiple UK locations (mostly located in large cities /conurbations in England). Some remote working available.

We are looking for an individual with the following experience and attributes:

*15 years' experience within the technology sector of the economy for example Telecoms, IT services , IT or management consultancy , High tech manufacturing , Aerospace, Defence contractor or Automotive
*Will have HR or Staff managed white collar, highly skilled , mid-career technology professionals in the UK
*A high degree of face 2 face customer contact and interface
*Be demonstrably skilled in managing Customer relationships
*Have significant experience is dealing with day to day people management issues including dealing with sourcing channel, hiring selection & Rejection, appraisal, grievance and disciplinary issues, performance management, remuneration review
*Determination & hunger to drive our EC proposition to meet our ambitious goals
