General description
The role is part of the Compliance team which provides advisory and assurance support to the Board of Directors of Holdings on the management and oversight of the regulatory risk exposure of the business as a whole.
Core duties and responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for:
The development of the risk management framework for the Group, including assisting the business to:
oput in place Risk registers for each corporate entity;
osupport those businesses in the development of key risk indicators;
ogenerating regular reports on the same;
odelivering risk training (internally);

Insurance reporting; handling notification of claims to respective insurers, ensuring claims handling is appropriate, reviewing reports and liaising with relevant staff to implement changes agreed with Director of Compliance.
Carrying out of project work (acquisition, investigations) as directed by the Head of Compliance.
Supporting Compliance Team with generation of group reports and recommendations combining data from group.
Deal with telephone calls/queries from other departments in a timely efficient and polite manner.
Other duties and responsibilities
Such duties as directed by the Head of Compliance and Group Legal and Compliance Director as may be required from time to time.

Confident in dealing with team members, staff, external service providers & related matters arising.
UK travel will be required from time to time sometimes including overnight stays.
Knowledge and skills: essential
IT literate - proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate/advanced for reporting), Outlook and Access.
Data Protection Act legislation and associated codes of conduct / practice. Confident of delivery of training (internal).
Presenting and reporting facts (verbal, written).Ability to excel under pressure and when working to frequent tight deadlines.
Data interpretation.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of the business.
Knowledge and skills: desirable
Experience of using databases and generating reports.
Knowledge of the civil enforcement process or other related industries.
Qualifications: desirable
Good level of general and technical education
Professional (Legal/Insurance/Risk/Financial/Audit). E.g., IRM, ICA, CSA
