KETTON, LINCOLNSHIRE

Job Description
The National Field Sales Manager is required to effectively develop and leverage existing customer relationships as well as achieve the new business goals of sales growth within each segment whilst inspiring, motivating, coaching and developing individual capabilities of the sales team. The candidate will efficiently execute the sales strategy and deliver on the sales targets and objectives, including the design and implementation of a sales and marketing excellence program for the sales team to ensure commitment and to realise sustained improved sales and marketing performance. The role will involve formulation, development and coordinating the delivery of highly valued account plans for existing and potential new customers that achieve business objectives identifying strategic and key business opportunities within the UK.

The purpose of the role is driving the sales team's focus to growing the current business through the existing
customer base & segments, as well as capturing new customers and creating opportunities to sell value- add products and services.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- The National Field Sales Manager is required to effectively develop and leverage existing customer
relationships as well as achieve the new business goals of sales growth within each segment
- Inspire, motivate, coach and develop the individual capabilities of the sales team to efficiently execute the
sales strategy and deliver on the sales goals and objectives
- Formulate, develop and coordinate the delivery of highly valued account plans for existing and potential
new customers that achieve mutual business objectives
- Identify strategic and key business opportunities within the UK and effectively take a lead role in realising
and creating new business opportunities
- Effectively maintain and develop relationships with key influencers in major customer account segments
- Coach both existing and prospective customers in company products
- Design, develop and implement a sales and marketing excellence development program for the sales team
to ensure commitment and to realise sustained improved sales and marketing performance
- Ensure all activities are aligned to Company's Company Values and all procedures are followed.
- Report, Monitor and set KPI targets in line with company strategy and goals.
- Ensure data management of systems, Customer Complaints, Market Analysis is up to date.
- Produce market reports as requested by National Commercial Director

Requirements

Knowledge
- Basic Search Engine Optimisation knowledge is preferable
- Understand and maintain core branding elements and messages across a variety of channels and
communication materials
- Excellent product knowledge
- Awareness of product attributes and performance
- Well-developed construction market knowledge
- Highly desirable to have knowledge of heavy building materials/cement/concrete applications
- Understand customers' businesses and what products can best meet their expectations and needs

Experience
- A proven track record of achievement in a sales leadership role.
- Previous experience managing a nationwide team based across multiple locations

Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in sales, management or engineering preferred
- Degree level preferable
