Our client, a Manufacturer of niche products for a diverse range of industries is looking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Electrician, to be based in Cleckheaton. On offer for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with Electrical and Mechanical qualifications is a salary of £42,500 + Contributory Pension Scheme + Private medical Insurance + Annual Profit Share Bonus.

This, a permanent position based in a modern, proposal built Manufacturing Plant in the Cleckheaton area, is working on a 4 on / 4 off shift rotation, providing Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of all plant and equipment which is operating on a 24/7 basis.

As a Shift Maintenance Electrician, this role will suit a driven and motivated engineer with good fault finding capabilities for both electrical and mechanical problems, who is looking for long term stability with an extremely credible employer, who invests heavily in training and people development.
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate the following skills:
*Apprentice Trained Engineers to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant Electrical Engineering Qualification or Multi-Skilled Qualification
*A strong and demonstrable safety ethic and approach as you will be expected to continue the company's impressive safety culture through safe planning, task execution and issuing of safety permits.
*Capable of optimising the manufacturing process and suggesting improvement ideas, using lean manufacturing techniques i.e. Kaizen, Six sigma etc.
*High level of computer literacy, preferable knowledge of SAP (SAP 6.0 2016), Microsoft Project and MS Office.
* As a progressive company, the environment is one that is continually changing and as such it is essential that candidates have a flexible and adaptable attitude in the work place.

The environment is classified as a medium to heavy industrial manufacturing facility therefore candidates who have worked in a Chemical Engineering or Glass / Window Manufacturing or Plastics / Extrusion industry would thrive in this Production Plant.
