An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intern in their penultimate year of their degree, to join a world leading global organisation, Unilever are currently looking for an Intern, preferably studying in in Land Economy or Real Estate, but we will consider other degrees. The role is for the Workplace Services area of the business with a focus on facilities management and building projects, based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Kingston-upon-Thames. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 48 hour week. This role is paying £20K pro rata.

Workplace Services is one of the core functions providing employee services. We have a team of approximately ~800 staff and manage ~6,000+ contractors. We manage a global real estate portfolio of 8.9 million square metres, deliver building projects and world class facilities management and support 59,000 travellers globally. We are implementing a long term plan to transform every Unilever Workplace and champion the success of our employees worldwide.

Main Job Purpose
When you join Workplace you will work across local, regional and global teams. You'll be working on live projects and gaining experience across all areas of the function. You may have the opportunity to focus in a particular area aligned to your studies if mutually beneficial. This could include a range of work from real estate optimisation strategies and analytics through to developing future sustainability policies to be rolled out across the footprint.

You will be making decisions that influence the future of our workplaces and the way we work with our suppliers. This may involve negotiating the next generation of airline/hotel deals and designing an interface between talent, digital and the physical workspace to improve employee experiences.
