Business Development Executive/ Sales Consultant job opportunity available in Bristol with Experis, the global leader in professional resourcing and workforce solutions, working with over 80% of the Fortune Global 500 and deploying more than 38,000 skilled individuals every day.

Due to extensive growth plans we are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to become a Sales Consultant/ Business Development Executive working as part of our well established and successful Business Development team, based in our busy Bristol City Centre office with 70 staff.

As a Business Development Executive you will start by:

*Taking the lead on maximising our Permanent and Contract/ Temp proposition across the UK
*Conducting market research and keeping up to date with market trends to provide insight to our Business Development team demonstrating a thorough understanding of our key markets - IT, Engineering & Finance
*Actively prospecting potential key clients in both the private and public sectors and networking at a mid - senior level
*Building a visible pipeline of opportunities for strategic business on a weekly basis as well as gaining appropriate meetings with potential clients for the sales directors
*Developing sales collateral to support our Business Intelligence, Analytics, Marketing and Sales teams
*Creating new strategies to promote Experis' capabilities through various communication channels
*Strategically working with colleagues in other arms of the organisation to help develop business on a global scale
*Maintaining the key client database and recording all contact with businesses in the individual sectors.

You will become:

*Recognised as a Business Development expert in the UK&I
*A true Subject Matter Expert and trusted advisor who can confidently engage and consult with Board members and both internal and external senior level stakeholders
*Involved in client engagement to board level, client meetings, attending conferences and all things associated with a true business development professional.

We are looking for an individual who can:

*Demonstrate excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
*Demonstrate the enthusiasm and drive to establish a successful career in Sales and Recruitment
*Be very comfortable engaging with people over the phone and face to face to gain useful information and build reputable relationships
*Demonstrate business acumen, entrepreneurialism and have the ability to identify business opportunities to generate sales leads
*Be highly organised with the ability to work to targets
*Be comfortable engaging with senior level stakeholders
*Be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of an integrated team, as well as being highly self-motivated with a high level of initiative
*Demonstrate the aptitude to understand technical markets, build a strong knowledge base and act as a Consultant and Trusted Advisor

Candidate Criteria:

*6 months to 2 years commercial experience in a Sales/ Customer Service environment is preferred but not essential - The enthusiasm and desire to succeed is more important
*The above skills & attributes


£18,000 - £23,000 basic salary (depending on experience) + commission & bonus + additional sales incentives. If you work hard and take advantage of the platform that we can offer you can expect to earn circa £30,000 in your first year and increase upon this this year on year.
