One of the UK's largest public bodies is looking for a Case examiner and Quality manager to lead their quality assurance team.

My client is a regulatory body based in the heart London, You would be working in the Fitness to Practice team, which investigates complaints raised against practitioners.

You would be in charge of several officers, who are responsible for reviewing fitness to practice case decisions. This would involve managing and continuously reviewing the Quality Assurance programme, ensuring that Case Examiners' work are completed within deadlines to a high standard. Where necessary, issues will be escalated to senior management with recommendations for remedial action. You would also develop new guidance and templates to support the quality assurance methodology by continuously reviewing productivity, outputs and outcomes and looking for room for improvement.

As part of your role as team leader, you would plan and implement induction training for Case Examiners within the team, as well as ongoing training for all officers when required by changes to legislation and policy.

Some data management would be necessary. You would compile management information and quality assurance, using this to implement customer service standards, identify and resolve problems, determine system improvements and implement change. Statistical performance-related management information would be used to compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports on quality assurance.

Ideal candidates will ideally:
*Come for a regulatory background
*A highly effective communicator with prior management experience
*Experienced in quality control
*Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing quality assurance programmes within agreed timescales
*Proven ability to plan and manage the workload of a team and to manage competing priorities
*Experience of working in a politically sensitive or regulatory environment
