You will be a professional and proactive individual who will bring your excellent customer service skills to this role. You will be the first point of contact for our visitors and provide administration support across the centre.

What does the role entail?
As Centre Administrator, your main duties will include:
*Providing a first point of contact for the Centre to all internal and external visitors to the Centre;
*Preparation and support for meetings and servicing the in-house events and external meetings by booking rooms, organising catering, providing agendas and distributing information;
*Supporting the Business Manager with day to day finance administration; including maintaining accurate records of expenditure and liaising with internal and external suppliers and vendors.
*Providing effective administrative support across the CIHM portfolio, including co-ordinating accurate documents for publication, such as marketing materials, and programme information. These duties provide a framework for the role and should not be regarded as a definitive list. Other reasonable duties may be required consistent with the grade of the post.

What will you bring to the role? As Centre Administrative Assistant you will have:

*Experience in a busy customer focused environment providing support to internal and external customers;
*Developed organisational skills with the proven ability to prioritise work and deliver against demanding deadlines;
*Ability to work both proactively and independently but also as part of a wider support team;
*Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build credibility and trust with a wide range of people;
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
*A good level of IT skills;
*Ability to maintain basic financial records;
*Exceptional attention to detail.

The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
