An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Global Assistant Brand Development Manager - Cif- based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Blackfriars, London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months starting ASAP (This role could possibly go long term for the right candidate), working a 36.25 hour week, paying up to £36,896 pro rata, depending on experience.

The Category
The Household Care category is one of the fastest growing categories of Unilever globally, holding very strong market positions in Emerging Markets with very established core brand propositions.

As part of the Home Care strategy "Brighten Every Home, Lighten Every Load", HHC is looking to continue delivering business results via Global Societal Development, Market Development, Brand and Customer Development coupled with a set of Leadership traits of its people.

The Brand
The Cif brand is the biggest HHCL brand of Unilever globally, present in more than 50 countries spread throughout various regions (Europe, NAMET, RUB, Asia, Africa, LATAM). Cif is a leading small surface cleaner brand with a global market share of about 15% (FY 2016) and is successfully growing share across most markets.
This is an exciting time to join Cif Spray: a new portfolio architecture has been agreed and needs to be landed cross regions / markets unlocking new opportunities; the core of the spray portfolio needs to be strengthen and relaunched; a new disruptive innovation need to hit the shelf; a new visual identity needs to be developed across the full Cif range; experimentation with E-commerce and DTC models needs to be delivered with a short time frame.

The Role
This is a high visibility role, being part of the team leading the biggest disruptive innovation project of the whole HHC category.
The job holder will support the SBM on key projects and will have ample autonomy in driving clearly defined projects and initiatives for Cif sprays globally, deploying and strengthening his / her leadership skills, frequent exposure to global and functional stakeholders with the opportunity of building the brand equity.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead/support global innovation and communication projects
* Craft global BETs for key innovations
* Manage key stakeholders to get global projects from Idea to Launch
* Manage a cross-functional project team in delivering innovation projects
*Collaborate with brand/marketing teams in cluster hubs and key direct dock countries to deliver 12Q plans

Fit into the organisation
* Report to Senior Global Brand Manage
* Will lead cross-functional project teams and work directly with key Local Marketing teams and cluster Global Brand teams in bringing projects to market
* Will work closely with the advertising and design agencies


Skills \ Experience required

*Robust innovation project management experience with proven track record
*FMCG and Global Brand Development experience is essential
*Country / P&L management skills
*High ability to manage effectively situations with change, complexity and ambiguity
*Strong influencing skills with high ability to inspire and motivate others across geographies and cultures.
