I am currently seeking an analytic and problem solving specialist materials scheduler to work on a minimum 7 month contract on a full time basis at our client site in Fawley in their Marine Refining and Supply department. The Refining and Supply Scheduler will be required to coordinate the logistical operations of the Marine Fuels business. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with an ability to prioritize and organise logistics, ideally within a transportation or shipping environment

Job Description
* Work with the Marine GBU, R&S and third party terminals to optimise supply and distribution
* Manage logistical operations of the Marine Fuels business .Coordinates operations with the barge operator, refinery and receiving terminals/customers
* Provide technical and operational support to sales

Prior experience necessary/desirable
* University degree or equivalent experience
* 2-3 years of operations and/or marine experience preferred
* Experience of working with or within R&S desirable
* Transportation or shipping knowledge desirable

Essential qualities required
Professional Profile:
* Strong analytic skills
* Strong writing and verbal communication skills
* Ability to develop good working relationships with both internal and external customers essential
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
