Our client is looking to recruit an additional 2nd Line Migration Engineer to join their growing team in Newcastle. As part of the largest migration project in Europe, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line support to the End User in both the lead up to and post migration.

This will be a diverse role and you will drive process improvement and streamline activities where applicable, ensure interdependencies are raised quickly and addressed from an operational perspective. You will also ensure all migration workstreams, key stakeholders and external vendors complete their relevant tasks prior to migrations questioning any discrepancies.

You should have the ability to collaborate with teams across the organisation and conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Active Directory, MS Exchange and Network migrations. A good knowledge of hardware devices and other infrastructure technologies will also be beneficial.

It is essential that you hold a current Microsoft certification and have at least 2 years' of professional experience. A degree in a relevant subject area would also be beneficial however is not essential.

The successful candidate must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance.
