The successful candidate will be providing parts support and customer service to a workshop network across the UK & Ireland and also working closely with various suppliers, analysing parts spend and possible opportunities for cost savings.
We are looking to speak with experienced Parts Advisor candidates from the motor trade, preferably with knowledge of Truck/ HGV Trailer parts.
What you will be doing:
* Oversee the management of stock (daily & emergency orders)
* Sourcing of parts to agreed budgetary targets
* Ensure all PO's are updated and costed correctly
* Ensure all warranty on aftermarket parts is captured and claimed
* Monitor, analyse and report monthly on department performance against budgets and KPIs
* Manage supplier relationships, agreements and service levels
* Collaboration with and support of the other departments within the business
* Parts invoicing administration, ensuring parts priced as per agreement
* Ensure parts selling prices in line with customer's contract
* Undertake any other duties or activities as required
What we are looking for:
* 3+ years Commercial Vehicle Parts experience
* Technical understanding of Trucks/HGV Trailers
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven 'customer first' service track record
* Strong negotiation skills
* Good knowledge of parts pricing, financials, budgets etc
* Good time management and organised towards workload
* Ability to work well under pressure and towards targets
