Trainee Service Engineer/ Service Engineer (Field Based)

Location: Northern Home Counties/Anglia.
Contract: Full time
Salary: £15,500 - £16,500 as a trainee, to £17,000 - £19,000 fully trained plus bonus
Other: Company Vehicle, 20 days Annual leave plus Bank Holidays

Our company is looking for trainee or experienced field based service engineers working in the Northern Home Counties/Anglia and surrounding area repairing office equipment from small Desktop printers to Larger Multifunction Copier Scanner printers. Also some scripted work instructions to follow and full training / support equipment supplied. The right candidate will be trained on more complex networked multi-functional devices, printers, for both laser and solid ink products across the Area as their skills progress. Our company offer a Managed Customer Service Support network for a blue chip company across the UK and require engineers for an expanding contract.
Field working experience would be preferred but not essential.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette. Be able to follow policies and procedures, demonstrate the ability to work well with a minimal amount of supervision and work with a well-established team of field based engineers.
A good knowledge of Windows7 OS and Microsoft Office Word, Excel are preferable. Reporting to the Area Service Delivery Manager, ensuring set performance levels are maintain on a Personal, Team, Area level, examples Call Response Delivery, Productivity, Service Call updates and Inventory returns process followed.
