Join E.ON as a Field Debt Agent in Basildon and you'll be part of one of the UK's top energy companies.
You'll visit customers who have unpaid bills on their account, to understand their financial situation and look for ways to clear their outstanding debts. You'll also discuss future payments with them, and will look for ways to reduce their future energy consumption. You'll make sure every visit is carried out with integrity and achieves E.ON's business objectives, whilst also leaving a positive, professional impression on the customer.
You'll take part in a two week training programme to make sure you're prepared with everything you need to know before you start your new role. This course will take place in Nottingham, where overnight accommodation and expenses will be provided. Initially our Field Debt Agents join us for a six-month period, but there will be the chance to secure a permanent contract at the end of this period.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience working with customers, so you'll have great communication skills and a professional manner. You'll also have excellent negotiation skills, you'll remain calm under pressure, and you'll be highly motivated to recover, resolve and prevent future debt.
You'll be given a company van and fuel card, so you must have a full UK driving licence with no more than six points).
