An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Payroll & Reward) to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Project Manager with Change management and contract negotiation skills to work in the Payroll department, based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying between £45-55K pro rata dependant on experience.
Main Job Purpose
1.Act as a key driver of the new global payroll strategy for area of responsibility. Support with the implementation of the new strategy across all countries.
2.Roll out global projects in Payroll area
3.Gather feedback on the global changes and providing it back to the change originators, assisting them in further improvements of the solution design e.g. Global Equity payroll process change
4.Audit of payroll (related) processes and define improvement plan
5.Assure that Payroll runs smoothly without disruption due to the implementation of new Core HR processes and helping with delivery of the My Pay Stream action plan.
6.Manage/support the contract negotiations/renewals with our global payroll providers. .
7.Partner with procurement team and contract team for request for proposals for new payroll and/or HR solutions.
8.Supports/facilitates the transition of impacted payroll deployments via use of in country management
9.Provide Payroll expertise to MCOs (Multi Country Organisation) (including process, policy, technical and governance)
10.Build relationships with MCO payroll stakeholders to develop understanding and define major risks/gaps which could cause problems/issues. Define plans to reduce these major gaps/risks for MCOs. E.g. Service improvement and Continuous improvement plan. You will work closely with and support the other Payroll managers in Europe/Turkey and Latin/North America.
11.Monitors and reviews service level targets, works to resolve issues/problems escalated above MCO level. Drive improvements in service where metrics identify major/ongoing risks.
12.Support the countries and engage with IT/Workday team to define and execute the actions to reduce the amount of errors and increase the data quality.
13.Use your network of external consultants and academic institutions to ensure that Unilever leverages best practice knowledge, solutions and products to Payroll Services
Relevant Experience
3-5 yrs of experience across:
International Payroll and HRM related operations
Payroll and inter-related processes and controls
Operations of outsourcing, preferably outsourcing Payroll and HR
Third party contracts compliance management with Sarbanes Oxley
Payroll, HRM & Automated Time & Attendance systems applications and implementation
Expertise in global mobility and equity is an asset
