My client is currently recruiting for an Energy Data and Reporting Lead based in Hampshire.
Permanent - Full time - £25,000pa
Job description:
Provide Energy Management Data and Reporting to the business to enable energy efficiency improvements.
Act as a key interface between the Energy Management Team and the rest of the business, and suppliers.
Key Accountabilities
1. Day to day management of the outsourced energy data management and bill validation service provider.
2. Work with end users of the energy management data, information and reports to enhance the capability of the outsourced energy data management system
3. Provide energy reports to the business to support continued certification to ISO 50001, these include regular monthly reports, ad hoc reports, exception reports, supporting reports and information for site Environmental Management Review Meetings etc.
4. Undertake analysis of energy consumption data to enable the energy team to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, and to measure and validate energy savings delivered by energy projects.
5. Ensure meter readings are carried out regularly to support Commercial Property with Tenant Billing, and to support sites with energy management activities.
6. Provide Finance with regular reporting and information, including accruals to enable better budgeting and forecasting of energy spend.
7. Manage the Energy Team's email inbox and manage team communication to stakeholders.
8. Identify opportunities for continual improvement of energy data management and reporting processes.
Key Capabilities/Knowledge
* Good analysis skills, and the ability to utilise Excel to translate data into user friendly information and reports
* Inquisitive mind, always seeking to improve processes and challenge the status quo
* Good communicator
* Confident to organise and prioritise own workload
Experience & Qualifications
* Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, Word and Powerpoint
* Preferably a background in utility data management or finance/engineering/maintenance data and reporting, or a demonstrable aptitude for data analysis (e.g. experience of producing regular management information, reporting etc.)
