Manpower is partnering with a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer in their search for a Production Manager. Based out of their top-tier COMAH facility in Bradford, the Production Manager will be instrumental in ensuring a first-class manufacturing service is maintained.

The Bradford site is enjoying a period of investment, and as Production Manager leading a team of 25, you will be critical to;
Ensuring that the production output targets are met
Optimising the plant to ensure that production is maintaining at the required rate and to the highest quality
Identifying and implementing process improvements to deliver efficiencies
Lead, coach and mentor employees to develop a culture of excellence
Provide first-line management duties to the team (such as performance reviews, grievances etc.)
Champion a culture of health and safety on site
This opportunity will suit someone with a hands-on approach, and that can draw upon their skills and experience which should already include;
A degree-level education within Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical ideally)
Extensive Production Management experience within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrable experience within the chemicals or related (such as pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, brewery etc.)
A working knowledge of the COMAH regulations, as well as other health and safety regulations
Accomplished leadership skills, with experience of managing large teams
A track record of delivering process improvements and embedding a culture of continuous improvement
Good data analysis and performance management skills
