Production Operators

Emma and Andrea are looking for Production Operators to join a rapidly expanding company based in Ashington.
The client is a leading global paint and coating's company and a major producer of speciality chemicals who supply innovative and sustainable paints, coatings and speciality chemicals to customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
*Production Operators
*Located in Ashington - Northumberland
*Shift pattern - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm or 4 12 hours shifts.
*£12.48 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
*Actively participate in Health Safety Environment and Security, sustainability and quality activates
*Able to carry out checks/tests in accordance with relevant Captain Qs requirements
*Locate and relocate various products using a FLT
*Support development of Work engineering Flow Sheets
*Carry out all required maintenance on equipment in line with assigned standard of work
*Develop and write standardised work based on risk assessment of the task or activity
*Conduct equipment changeovers to set timings and standards
*Plan and prioritising of daily work load
*Meet objectives and KPI's

Key Requirements
*GCSE / A Level / NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
*Qualification in English and Maths - must be competent in numeracy in order to read numbers, percentages and flow rates
*Ability to read and understand computer systems as well as write permits, develop standard operating procedures.
*IT literate in word processing and data storage applications - ability to read screen displays and mindset for analysis through data
*Excellent verbal communications and team work skills
*Flexible as will be required to work a 2 shift system
