About the role:
As a Customer Service Advisor working within Residential Correspondence, you will be responsible for servicing customer emails and letters then responding to these via phone, email and letters. Being telephony based you willl deal with general customer queries such as answering questions regarding customers' bills, payments and meter readings with a focus on SMART Metering. Excellent written communication is an important part of how we deal with and support customers so writing in a clear and concise way is essential.

You'll initially join us on a temporary basis, but there will be the opportunity to become a permanent E.ON employee at a later date. There's a range of great benefits on offer too:
*Initially the pay will be £16,428 pa pro-rata (£7.50 per hour) and after 12 weeks, your pay will automatically increase to £17,027 pa pro-rata (£8.85 per hour), with the chance for it to later rise to £19,778pa pro-rata (£10.28 per hour).
*You'll qualify for an annual bonus scheme.
*You'll start with 28 days annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days (including bank holidays)
*There's good transport links nearby, an onsite canteen serving hot and cold food, and a free drinks vending machine.
About you:
Ideally you'll have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or contact centre role. Naturally you'll also have great communication skills, and will be comfortable handing large volumes of calls professionally.
Our contact centre is open from 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays; so you'll need to be flexible with working hours too.
