This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who have rapidly increased their market share in the construction machinery market, with a highly respected brand and product. The successful candidate will play a key role in their next stage of growth for the Mallusk site.

We are looking for an Aftersales professional from the construction or HGV industry, who will take overall responsibility for the workshop and service team, ensuring that the workshop is utilised efficiently and customer service is delivered to a high standard.


The Role:

* Manage day to day operations of the Aftersales department covering parts and service, ensuring the workshop is run efficiently and profitably
* Schedule workloads for Technicians and maximise staff productivity
* Deal with customer queries and technical issues in a positive manner and strive to maintain a high level of customer service and retention, dealing with issues/complaints when required.
* Monitor and oversee department financials, including budget, profit and loss, looking at ways to increase market share and department revenue
* Manage departmental and individual targets across labour sales and parts sales
* Build positive relationships with customers and liaise the manufacturer regularly
* Lead and motivate the service team and set service standards to ensure the department is run effectively
* Work closely with and report to company Director


What we are looking for:

* Experience in Aftersales Management is essential and you will ideally have experience from the plant industry
* Experience managing staff and running a productive workshop
* You will have excellent mechanical and technical knowledge across plant machinery and equipment
* The ability to communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
* Excellent customer service skills and commercial awareness
* Proficient IT skills

Salary is negotiable on experience for the successful candidate
