Merchandiser Role:
The role of a Merchandiser is to visit the appointed the stores each week to replenish the stock as new inventory arrives and update the display. The Merchandiser must build strong working relationships with the Goldsmiths staff, and will be in regular contact with Head of UK Sales. Previous Retail or Customer Service skills would a distinct advantage but experience in Jewellery Sales is not essential as full product induction and training will be given.

Duties:
Unpacking the merchandise
Checking the delivery note
Clarifying if there's any under shipment or additional stock within the consignment
Signing the proof of delivery documents together with the staff there
Emailing or scanning any required information back to HQ, if required
Keep the space clean at all times, weekly cleaning schedule is expected
Packing returns and sending them back to company as instructed in induction
Assistance may be requested for Inventory checks from time to time
In addition, stock taking is performed once a year which will require a full shift of 4 hours to be worked - this will be communicated with reasonable notice by Warren Parker-Mills
Product exchanges (merchandise out, new merchandise in)
The removal of defective items and ordering of their replacements
Check that all packaging levels (boxes, etc) are maintained/order Special requests using the appropriate forms/email
