Manpower present a fantastic opportunity to work for one of our client in the security industry and will be working out of Glasgow covering the City and the Central Belt

The successfully candidate will have a good deal of experience in the following areas ;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

Deliver excellent Customer Service/relationship at all times
Present a professional image through high standards of personal appearance including upkeep of work wear and Company vehicle
Communicate with customers and agree works required.
Communicate with Customers to agree installation plan
Liaise with customer throughout works
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment (Good housekeeping)
Train customers on the correct use of the system
Identify opportunities to sell extra works and system enhancements

Installation engineer core duties

> Pick up job (Spec, materials) from stores.
Check all materials to job spec ensuring correct kit for job
Report to supervisor and stores of any shortfall or wrong equipment
Introduce yourself to client/contractor to begin installation and be courteous at all times,
Go over spec and plan the installation agree with client areas of work
Carry out installation/alterations as agreed with customer (All to industry standards)
Always work in a safe manner and refer to RAMS (Risk Assessment, Method Statement)
Liaise with other contractors to agree access and installation strategy
Ensure safe keeping of plant and materials on site
Maintain tools, calibrated test equipment and plant
Return surplus and faulty equipment
Conduct and record functional tests
Commission and correctly document finished systems before handing over to Customers
Leave completed systems functioning to Customer's satisfaction
Were applicable collect any payments due on completion and submit to the office immediately
Submit all completed documents to head office for update on customer file and invoicing.




Documentation

Complete all documentation contained with the Installation Job Pack and Timesheets accurately and legibly
Submit all Documentation on time. (Job packs, timesheets etc.) to ensure admin can invoice and update records accordingly and to industry standard
Ensure all H&S documentation has been understood and signed for each job

Health and Safety

Comply with prevailing Health and Safety legislation, Company and Customer site specific instructions.
Possess relevant ECS, IPAF and PASMA certificates.
Use ladders, access equipment, hand and power tools in a safe manner
Maintain and use personal protective equipment
Always refer to RAMS for site works

Key Performance Indicators

Installation completed within allowed time
Maintain good customer relations
Being conscientious and productive regards the role (On site 08.30am until 17.00pm)
All installations completed to Company and Industry Standards
All documentation submitted on time
All plant maintained and regularly inspected
Company vehicle kept clean and tidy (Inside and out) and service/maintenance up to date and ensuring road worthy prevailing all legislation (Tyres, electrics)

Personal Specification

Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Must be able to plan and work methodically to a high standard
Must have customer service skills
Must be able to drive and have a valid license
Must be computer literate
Must be prepared to have a flexible attitude to working hours and work indoors and outdoors on a range of sites and work on shift rota as required by the Service Dept
Must be prepared to use step ladders and other access equipment
Must be aware of the Industry Standards (NSI)
Must be certificated to SVQ Level 3 Security Systems Technical Services or equivalent
Must possess current ECS, IPAF and PASMA cards
Must be committed to continuously developing both themselves and other members of staff responsible to them in line with company objectives
Must be prepared to maintain your company vehicle to a legal and company standard as set out in the Staff Handbook
