Job Title:Electrical Technician - £34000 OTE £40000

Location:Avonmouth, Bristol

I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to work on my client's biggest site in the UK. My client is an award winning metal recycling company over 40 sites over the UK and 250 global. They really do support their staff and promote development within the role.

You will responsible for the maintenance and repair of fixed all electrical machinery as well as day to day operation. As you would be working on my clients biggest site the UK the role will be demanding, but you will have support from a strong team and great interaction between contractors and staff. You will be required to immediately respond to correction of plant breakdowns as well as carrying out preventative maintenance on site as necessary. You will also be the point of contact for technical support whilst on shift. You will have a logical approach to problem solving with commitment to achieving plant operation and production companies.

My client has requested that you hold the following qualifications and experience:

*Industrial/Plant experience teamed with 3 phase systems is essential
*Computer Literate
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*City and Guilds/HND/HNC Qualified level teamed with experience.
*AC Motor knowledge is essential
*Experience in PLCs/SCADA is preferable
*Experience working with Cranes
*Working with high voltage machinery and working at heights
*Good practice of Health and Safety

Pay is reviewed annually every September with the company authorising pay increases every year for the last 10 years.

The hours of work and rate of pay are listed below:

Hours of work: 2 shift pattern, working 6-2.30 and 2-10pm. There is also overtime available paid at time and a half Saturday and double time on Sunday.

Salary: £24k - 34k OTE £40,000+
