Do you have experience in Electrical/Electronic principles, Power & Distribution, High Voltage & Low Voltage systems, Electrical Test Equipment, Soldering and Crimping techniques? This may be the next step for you.
Our client is looking for a senior electrical engineer to utilise their experience to instruct theoretical and practical technical training to the equipment and systems of RN warships and other Navies vessels in accordance with the Training Plan and other procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating documentation, assessing the work by the students and provide feedback on performance. You will have a duty of care for the students during the delivery of your training, also ensuring that the Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented at all times.
You must have Consolidated experience (within last 5 years), or directly employed in Marine electrical and electronic engineering principles in the maritime environment and have previous experience in the application of electrical soldering and crimping techniques on low voltage systems.
Additionally it would be favourable to have the following;
*Previous knowledge in the application of Marine electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction with an awareness of Electrical/Electronic Principles, Power & Distribution, High Voltage / Low Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment, Electrical Maintenance.
*Previous instructional experience in a military electrical and electronic environment (ideally within last 5 years)
*Experience in the development of electrical and electronic engineering based training courses
*Experience (within last 3 years) of CBT/CAI principles, concepts and use
*Qualified academically or vocationally to a minimum of ONC in relevant subject matter
*Level 4 Teaching Qualification PTTLS(4), CertEd, PCGE or equivalent
*ECDL or equivalent proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
Starting salary £29,000
Monday to Friday, business hours - 40hrs per week
