Telephonist/Switchboard operator

The job:

You will become the telephonist operator in government Buildings located around Dublin City Centre. You will become the first point of contact for the department and it is your responsibility to ensure a good first impression with the department.

Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for the department and have strong customer service skills.
- Responsible for answering/ understanding and routing calls in a polite tone and manner.
- Courteous and professional in all dealings with customers both internal and external

The Fit:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently in a busy working environment.
- Some departments may require receptionist duties.

Salary and working hours:
Working hours: Casual worker covering holiday leave and sick leave, working hours may vary from zero hours to 37.5 hours per week. Salary: €11.45 per hour.
