Production Operative

We are currently seeking Production Operatives to work for our client in an industrial environment either filling LPG cylinders or re-conditioning and repairing damaged cylinders, following set work instructions and health and safety procedures.

Part of the role will include loading and unloading trailers and pallets and other repetitive manual handling tasks, and is based partially outside, under shelter.

Applicants will preferably have experience of working in a production environment, although full training will be given.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive, responsible attitude and be able to work as part of a team. You will also be reliable, have strong safety awareness, and be able to work using a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Good numeric and communication skills are also required, as is the ability to follow verbal

The working pattern is 42.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, and the current working hours are 6.00 am - 3.00 pm on the day shift and 3.00 pm - 12 midnight on the late shift with a shift allowance of £18.75 per shift.

Applicants should be able and prepared to work overtime where required.
