An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for a Global Assistant Brand Development Manager -based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Blackfriars, London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months starting ASAP, working a 36.25 hour week, paying up to £36,896 pro rata, depending on experience.

The Household Care category is one of the fastest growing categories of Unilever globally, holding very strong market positions in Emerging Markets with very established core brand propositions.

Household care global team is based in London and is a dynamic, result-oriented and engaging team of talents, operating in a rigorous environment that offers a great opportunity to develop as a marketing and business talent.

The Brand
The Glorix brand of Unilever exists in both developed and developing markets with strong heritage of disinfection for family protection through a range of household cleaning products.
It is a strong leader in its market showing that its purpose is resonating strongly with people aspirations. It has also been recently launched into new geographies to bring its purpose to more people across the globe.

The Role
The role is to support/lead a number of key global innovation and communication projects as well as landing the digital strategy via cooperation with various markets in Europe, Asia and Russia.
The job holder will have ample autonomy in driving clearly defined projects and initiatives for Glorix globally, deploying and strengthening his / her leadership skills, frequent exposure to global, country, and functional stakeholders and the opportunity of building the brand equity.
And bring your contribution to bring the brand purpose further.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead/support global innovation and communication projects
* Lead digital strategy & deploy it with cooperation of markets.
* Manage key stakeholders to get global projects from Idea to Launch
* Manage a cross-functional project team in delivering innovation projects
*Collaborate with brand/marketing teams in markets to deliver these projects.
* Will work closely with the advertising and design agencies


Skills \ Experience required

*FMCG experience would be preferred
*Global Brand Development experience is essential
*Strong understanding and experience of driving brand communication through digital channels, websites, mobile channels and consumer journeys within them.
*Able to manage multiple agency relationships independently.
*Robust analytical skills.
*Innovation project management experience with proven track record incl/ project management software (MS Project etc.)
*High ability to manage effectively situations with change, complexity and ambiguity
*Strong influencing skills with high ability to inspire and motivate others across geographies and cultures.
*Strong coordination & organisational skills
*Knowledge of Italian language would be advantageous
