Electric Meter Reader

We are currently recruiting for Meter Readers to work on a 12 week assignment in the New Forest area. You will be allocated a geographical patch. You will be performing 'door to door' contacts, gain authorised access to private and commercial premises and accurately record meter readings.

Initially you will attend one week's induction in Portsmouth. Upon completion of your training you will spend your first week buddied up with permanent Meter Reader staff. You will then be assigned your 'patch' or 'route'.

You will be required to work between the hours of 0800 - 2000 equalling no more than 37 hours per working week.

You will be required to hold a UK driving license, and if needed, a company vehicle will be supplied to you when you start!
