Manpower Ashford are working with large company based in Dartford who are looking for an Administrator/ Traffic Clerk to start immediately!
As a Traffic Clerk, your responsibilities will include the briefings of Drivers, completing necessary paperwork and traffic sheets and monitoring the daily plan and highlighting any delays. You must update the computer system with the correct data and ensure that Drivers, agency workers and subcontractors are scheduled efficiently to cover workload / routes, ensuring depot targets are met delivering excellent levels of customer service both internally and externally.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that tachograph cards are downloaded/completed daily in accordance with Legislation and actively monitor all vehicle and trailer information to ensure resource is available.
To be considered for this role you will possess the following skills:
Be PC literate
Have a good standard of numeracy and literacy
Be detail conscious
Have excellent communication skills
Have excellent customer service skills
Have accurate data entry skills
A working knowledge of Driver regulations and previous experience within the logistics industry giving you a wider operational understanding would be considered advantageous for this position.
Working hours will be between 1pm - 9pm
Pay rate £10.35 per hour
