Mechanical Manufacturing Supervisor

Due to growth a leading international manufacturer in Berinsfield, near Oxford, Abingdon and Wallingford is seeking a hands on Mechanical Manufacturing Supervisor from a mechanical or automotive manufacturing background.
You must have worked on large products perhaps from a marine, automotive or aviation background that can supervise and mentor a team of 4 experienced production operatives.
You need to have hands on experience supervising staff as you will manage the supervision and training of a strong team who mould manufacture of bespoke products by adopting good workmanship standards and leading by example you will create a strong team ethic.
Hold weekly shop floor meetings and monitor and report staff performance including absences through to the production manager.
The company is looking for someone with a good standard of education and communication skills, an understanding of a conventional workshop with power tools with a background in mechanical tools and machinery.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, salary £25 - £30k, 23 days holiday, Bupa and Pension and free parking.
