This position is open only to current ADM students.
The Hires and Loans Team provides students with guidance a support in their booking of
audio visual equipment. The role will involve handling a wide range of equipment, preparing
it for collection and inspecting it on return. You will also assist the team with administration
and maintenance tasks as they arise throughout the day.
Customer service experience is essential as you welcome, assist and/or direct students, and
other users of Hires and Loans, depending on their enquiries. This is an excellent
opportunity to develop skills specific to audio visual equipment and their operation as well as
to gain experience in a professional working environment.
Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 18.00 (4-6 hours shifts)
Main duties:
* To provide basic technical support for students using Hires and Loans. Training and
support will be provided to the successful candidate.
* The preparation and basic maintenance of equipment during collection and returns.
* Ensure that students receive kit in good order and in a timely fashion.
* Ensure that students return kit in good order and in a timely fashion.
* To assist the Hires and Loans technicians in keeping the facility clean and tidy and
stock taking duties.
* To ensure that students use Hires and Loans in a manner that is in adherence to all
relevant terms, conditions and guidelines
* Informing security immediately in the event of an accident or injury
