General description
Working within a team of 14, responsible for handling all High Court correspondence ensuring that it is dealt with quickly efficiently and in line with HCEO rules and regulations.
Providing client updates, seeking instruction and liaising with internal teams to identify solution/resolution to queries. Understanding the fee structure and settling cases with appropriate fees for the work that has been completed.

Core duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring all correspondence received is prioritised.
- Providing written responses to correspondence received within agreed timescales.
- Responding to Solicitors and Defendants letters
- Responding to Insolvency Practitioners
- Calculating and agreeing fees for work completed
- Accurately recording and evaluating information
- Accurately inputting data of court documents
- Scanning and maintaining filing
- Archiving and retrieving filing
- Printing out post emails maintaining the email files
- Ensuring all post is sent to correct address
- Ensuring procedure for checking envelopes is adhered to
- Ad-hoc - general post room house keeping

Person specification
− Thorough, attention to detail
− Good English both written and verbal
− High level of self-motivation
− Ability to work as part of a team

Knowledge and skills: essential
− IT literate - proficiency with Windows Systems
− Excellent keyboard skills - Minimum 50wpm
− A clear and effective communicator, both orally and in writing
− Excellent time management, planning, organisational and numerical skills
− Good attention to detail
− Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision and prioritise workloads

Qualifications: desirable
− Good level of general education including 5 GCSE's A-C (including Maths and English) or GNVQ/NVQ qualification or equivalent
− Good English, both Verbal and written.

− Previous general administration experience in an office environment
