Job Details
Major Tasks and Activities:
Accountable to the Engineering Support or Engineering Information Leads
Responsible for the delivery of Engineering Support to all internal (to BDSG) customers
Manage responses to engineering queries, to include TQNs and TINs, ensuring a timely response
Responsible for the maintenance (currency and completeness) and availability of all legacy and new data and technical information required to support outputs, to include but not limited to AESPs, repair schemes, drawings, BoMs, ERP information and Routes
Provide support to engineering estimating and feasibility decisions
Support the TQN, Concession and Repair Scheme processes ensuring the provision of the required service level in terms of creation and maintenance
Support the Hub with engineering intelligence input to its activities
Support and implement new or amended engineering processes and procedures
Ensure effective communication to all internal stakeholders
Carry out corrective action activities and investigations as required
Liaise with all external stakeholders necessary to deliver your outputs
Provide support to Transformation and Continuous Improvement activities
Provide support to innovation projects
Provide information and input to monthly reporting
Undertake required training to ensure you remain SQEP
Key Outputs/Deliverables
The timely delivery of engineering support to all internal customers
Maintaining the currency of all engineering information needed to enable outputs
Effective management of all elements of any projects
Report regularly to the Engineering Support or Engineering Information Leads
Other related tasks and projects as required
Maintain awareness of related engineering developments
