Warehouse Operatives

Manpower are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for a Global organisation based in Stafford Park, Telford. Our client has four main divisions: food packaging; medical & healthcare; horticultural & industrial and are looking for experienced Warehouse Operatives to join their organisation on a temp to perm basis.

As a Warehouse Operative you will control warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of products from production to warehouse to shipping. You will perform varied and general tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, processing and distributing materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

Your day to day tasks will include but not limited to:

Pick-up products by monitoring production; loading and moving products
Store products by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements then update location database.
Prepare products for shipment by verifying location and directing movement to staging area.
Verify product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports.
Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, records and maintaining databases.
Monitor inventory by completing counts as required

Essential Skills:

Previous experience in a similar warehousing position and be able to operate Pallet truck.
Teamwork, Coordination, Organisation, Planning, Inventory Control, Data Entry Skills, Dependability, Supervision,
Self-motivated and be able to work alone or as part of a team, have leadership quality and capable to encourage the team to exceed the expectations
Must have good health be able to lift and move equipment within the H&S policy.
Flexible and team player

These roles are temporary with a view to lead permanent after 12 weeks for the right candidates.

You will be required to work on rotating shifts 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am so flexibility is also very important.
