Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician, preferably with franchise workshop experience however this is not essential. Candidates with good experience from a private garage will be considered.

The successful person will have a can-do approach to mechanical faults and an ability to identify faults and make efficient repairs.

You will be working in a modern franchise environment, but you will also carry out repairs to a variety of makes and models.

The Role

• Mechanical maintenance and repairs to customer vehicles across franchise and used car brands.
• Work efficiently and ensure repairs are complete to a high standard
• Diagnose faults using modern tools and equipment, carry out servicing, correct mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles
• Help maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Liaise with Workshop Controller and Service Manager regarding service progress and any potential delays to work
• Complete warranty and service records accurately

What we are looking for:

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

Mechanical experience in a vehicle workshop environment

Experience with modern diagnostics and knowledge of vehicle mechanics

Full, clean driving license.
