Manpower are currently recruiting for customer service advisors to start immediately for their client based at East Midlands Airport. This is an ongoing temporary role working between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00PM.

We are looking for PC literate people with a high attention to detail to join our client's growing customs department of advisors. Working in the customs department, you will be responsible for contacting customers and requesting clearance information and, when necessary, providing appropriate advice on import processes and procedures. A strong background in customer service and data entry would be advantageous, however, full training will be provided.

About You:

  • You have excellent communication skills, preferably gained whilst working in a customer service role
  • You have a professional telephone manner
  • You are a good team player
  • You are flexible, friendly and have a can-do attitude
  • You have the ability to work on your own initiative
  • You have good keyboard skills and a keen eye for detail
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment with an ability to deal with volume pressures in your workload

    • The successful candidate will be paid £8.21/ph, paid weekly.
