Control Systems Engineer

We are currently working with a leading engineering company in the North East who are looking to appoint a Control Systems Engineer to their team as a result of continual growth. There are opportunities on either a permanent or contract basis

Reporting into the Control systems manager you will be responsible for designing, testing, and commissioning control systems for offshore projects. You will work with the client ensuring that the systems designed fit their requirements and advise the client or alter the design as necessary. You will work to the ISO 9001 standard and understand the requirements of designing for the offshore industry.

You will have previous experience in Control system design within a bespoke engineering environment and be very familiar with the implementation and programming of SCADA, PLC, HMI, and VSD's to control complex equipment. You will have experience with S7 or ControlLogix PLC's and WinCC/TIA portal or RSView. Ideally you will also have programming experience in the C-family and experience with other offshore or marine projects.
