Transmission Network Engineers

If you are an experienced Transmission Network Engineer, there are places to be had in this Havant based team!

You will become part of the Transmission Engineering Team who are responsible for recording, repair, maintenance and installation of the Transmission network.

• You will be responsible for the integration and maintenance of the various Transmission platforms, as well liaising with vendors, and suppliers
• You will be responsible for the delivery of network performance against committed service levels, and will perform 'post mortem' reviews, identifying root cause, corrective actions and creating service improvement
• You'll also ensure resolution of all network pervasive issues and all T3 engineering
• You'll also be responsible for the management of third party delivery againstSLA and will initiate service reviews withTelecoms partners to review:
  • break fix performance
  • technical issues
  • process improvements
  • project interaction
• You'll check final approvals of all operational changes before handover to NOC and will ensure a cohesive approach within the Engineering team

Your Skills and Experience

• You do need to have working knowledge of using Ciena OneControl, Infinera DNA-M, Sorrento Gigamux, and Turin Traverse platforms.

• Knowledge and experience of Microwave Radio, and PDH would be useful, although not essential.
