We have an exciting new role for an Automation Scripter to join our leading IT Client based in Newcastle.
You will be responsible for automating the migration process by interrogating and validating technical data using a variety of sources in readiness for input into migration documents.
Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be responsible for tracking and resolving escalated issues during the migration.
This is a diverse role and responsibilities will include:
* Creating, developing and maintaining tools using PowerShell, VDA and SQL
* Liaising with other teams and key stakeholders in regular meetings and develop new or update existing toolsets in line with new requirements
* Develop and maintain documentation and work instructions in support of applications
* Champion current process improvement
The ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft Access/ Excel skills and report creation, hands on experience with data feeds, data reconciliations and databases and excellent analytical skills.
If you have strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels, can work on own initiative, and are comfortable working in pressurized environments this could be your ideal role.
Please note that the post holder must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance.
