Storekeeper - Plymouth - £18,000

Manpower is pleased to be working for our client in Plymouth to find a Storekeeper. Our client is a well-established and busy company who is looking for the right person to join their hard working team. This role is initially offered on a temp basis with an immediate start but could go to a permanent role for the right person.

About the role

In the role of Storekeeper you will be working alongside the technical team to ensure the coordination of all electrical and mechanical equipment, tools and supplies are correctly received and stored. You will also take reasonability for the general maintenance of the store ensuring a safe working environment, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and receiving and checking components against documentation.

About the candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a Storekeeping position. You will be able to work on your own initiative and collect and communicate information clearly. You will have a good understanding of basic storekeeping principles as well as basic stock control operations and documentation. Previous experience in a similar storekeeper's role would be an advantage but is not essential. This role is available with an immediate start on a temporary basis but has the potential turn into a permanent role for the right person.
