Warehouse Team Leader

Manpower are currently working with an organisation based in Aston, Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Warehouse Team Leader on a full time, permanent basis.

As a successfully appointed Warehouse Team Leader in this company you will comply with the 1 weekly rotating shift pattern which is:

Shift pattern is:

• 05:45 - 14:00pm - Monday to Friday (Morning shift)
• 13:45 - 22:00pm - Monday to Friday (Afternoon shift)
• 21:45 - 06:00- Monday to Thursday (Night shift)

As a Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• Production Management
• Customer and Supplier Liaison
• People Management
• Production KPIs
• Ensure conformance of product to customer specific requirements
• Kaizen & 5S
• Health and Safety
• Environmental Management
• Standardised Work
• Principle Tasks/ Main Duties

You will manage and lead a team of up to 35 staff and ensure that all direct and indirect reports are fully trained and maintain company skills matrix/records. Team appraisals are completed on a monthly basis and training needs identified. The Warehouse Team Leader will deputise for the Warehouse Manager and deputy team leaders complete their teams appraisals on monthly basis and identify training whilst resolving employee relations issues, leading investigations and holding disciplinary meetings where appropriate, with the relevant HR support.
