We have a superb opportunity for an Accounts Assistant/Administrator with our Merseyside based client, a forward thinking, highly innovative and market leading Consultancy.

Reporting in to the companies a knowledgeable and supportive Accounts & Development Manager it is essential candidates are AAT Level 3 qualified, and must demonstrate strong Excel skills as well as previous experience of Sage and SAP

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to remain organised and focussed on tasks. The ability to understand and follow a process from initial instruction through to delivery is essential. THE ROLE will be split into two clearly defined areas;

Accounts Assistant

  • Processing accruals and prepayments, working on monthly management reports,
  • Completing areas of sales ledger and credit control and purchase ledger
  • Processing and administration of company accounts.
  • Inputting invoices onto the accounts package
  • The role will require working closely with the accounts manager and project team to facilitate smoother operation of processes and payments.

Administration

  • Managing applications for the development team by processing and inputting data into trackers for the development assistants and seniors to review in order to progress projects.
  • Checking orders to order confirmations
  • Daily monitoring of new applications and activity
  • General admin duties such as reception, post, filling and any other ad-hoc duties as required by the business

EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of Sage 50 is essential
  • Knowledge of SAP is essential
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Organisational ability

  • Able to use self-initiative
  • Great attention to detail
  • A friendly, polite individual who is comfortable using the telephone and speaking to clients

Salary

£17-18,000 + benefits including 20 days holiday + bank holiday, friendly sociable team, pleasant working environment & free onsite parking.
