Machine Operatives Required

We are currently seeking Machine Operatives to work for our client in an industrial environment either filling LPG cylinders or re-conditioning and repairing damaged cylinders, following set work instructions and health and safety procedures.

Part of the role will include loading and unloading trailers and pallets and other repetitive manual handling tasks, and is based partially outside, under shelter, in all weathers.

Applicants will preferably have experience of working in a production environment, although full training will be given.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive, responsible attitude and be able to work as part of a team. You will also be reliable, have strong safety awareness, and be able to work using a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good numeric and communication skills are also required, as is the ability to follow verbal instructions.

A fork-lift truck license is desirable.

The working pattern is 42.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, and the current working hours are 6.00 am - 3.00pm on the day shift and 3.00 pm - 12 midnight on the late shift. Applicants should be able and prepared to work overtime where required.

This is long term work, and we offer 28 days holiday per year, a contributory pension scheme, and a subsidised canteen and free parking on site.

Please note that there is no public transport to the site, so your own transport is a must, and you must be over 18 years to work on site.

Energy Plant Production Operatives Required Our Client is looking for hard working, motivated operatives to work on a busy Energy plant. there are various roles available, including filling of gas cylinders to the maintenance of the cylinders. The role involves working in all weathers, and some roles do have a rotating shift pattern. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, responsible attitude and be able to work as part of a team. You will also be reliable, have strong safety awareness. Full training will be given. This is long term work with overtime available.
