One of Ireland's top Insurance Companies now has a position for a Business Analyst.

This is a full time, permanent role, based in Dublin. Salary is around €55K- 60K plus benefits.

The business analyst will be the primary representative in managing and driving strategic and tactical insurance projects and change requests. The position works closely with commercial, development and test teams to ensure that requirements are clearly documented & understood, and that technical solutions are delivered to meet requirements.

We are looking for candidates ideally from insurance and financial services experience in any variety of industries or organisations within Retail, Financial Services, IT Services and Banking.

Business Analyst role overview:
*Manage and produce clear and qualified requirements from undefined and unstructured information
*Proven ability to review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommend solutions, As-Is & To-Be
*Provide business analysis support for change requests
*Document requirements clearly in change request form
*Identify and highlight potential overlap with existing system/processes
*Support Development and UAT on queries relating to the requirements outlined
*Ensure changes or clarifications to requirements are updated on the CR form.
*Provide business analysis support throughout the life cycle of the Elysium programme
*Scoping - Scoping docs, RTM, BRD, Process Flow charts, Functional specs
*Planning - RFP scores, assisting with Dev & UAT queries
*Managing - Point of contact for clarification during development and UAT.
*Ensure consistency with other business analysts by adopting a common approach and standard of quality in the production of the following documents
*RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix)
*Scoping Documents
*BRD (Business Requirements Document)
*Functional Specification
*Process Flow Charts
*Produce and maintain detailed business analysis documents generated throughout the CR and project lifecycle ensuring compliance with the following governance:
*Evidence of sign off received from all listed stakeholders.
*Ensure documents are version controlled following changes.
*Ensure all documents and evidence of sign offs are saved to relevant CR / project folders.
*Ensure strict application of CR process once final version of BRD are signed off.

Your Experience:
*A background knowledge of processes and products, insurance or computer science a distinct advantage.
*Experience in insurance and financial services projects.
*Experience of working on project activity, demonstrating knowledge of relevant principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management from initiation through to implementation.
*Manage and produce clear and qualified requirements from undefined and unstructured information
*Proven ability to review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommend solutions, As-Is & To-Be
*Strong analytical skills
*Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
*A good communicator, comfortable with interacting with people from all levels and various parts of the business.
*Demonstrated ability to work in a changing and challenging environment and a record of producing high quality deliverables against an aggressive schedule.
*Highly motivated, results orientation and ability to work on own initiative
*Degree educated: Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science
*Business analytics Diploma / Qualification
*History of taking training to improve knowledge to remain current in your field
*Training in Microsoft office an advantage.
