An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Customer Order Application Specialist based on their prestigious client's facility in Blackpool, FY3. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 4-6 weeks, working a 37.5-hour week, there could be an extension for another 2 weeks TBC. This role is paying between £15-18 per hour, depending on experience.

Job role and accountabilities

Unilever Food Solutions has developed a new eCommerce platform (app only currently) and has a new customer, based in Blackpool in pilot.

As part of the app provision, Unilever Food Solutions has also provided the customer with a 'back end admin panel' (web-based) which enables our customer's team to use it to

  • Accept, reject, amend orders
  • Amend products (images, descriptions and pricing)
  • Upload new customers

Accountabilities

Manage and drive as many orders as possible through the app/back end admin panel and into W/S ERP system

You will be placed / seconded into our Trade Partner in Blackpool with a view to:

  • Training telemarketing team on back end panel and how to use it
  • Working daily as part of our Trade partner team managing orders, changes etc, within the admin panel
  • Learning how to use our Trade partners back end ERP system to manage order re-entry from the admin panel into the Trade partner system
  • Working as part of the telemarketing team to speak with end user customers to explain how it works and benefits for them.
  • Helping as 1st/2nd line support for any trade partner customers who have questions on ordering
  • Liaising with both trade partner IT team and UFS account and tech team to feed back on any additional requirements to facilitate and support use.

You will need to have an understanding on:

  • SKU/Product & category listings
  • Back end office systems that relate to product and category SKU management; web-based or ERP understanding preferred
  • Order-taking/ order selling from a telemarketing/ telesales background (Wholesale or retail experience preferred).
  • Be a self-starter with confidence to engage and train and provide workarounds for a team; manage briefings and weekly updates
  • Have some digital / systems background to manipulate and understand top level data / digital requirements
  • Communicating issues that relate to customer / user journeys would be beneficial.
  • Working within an ecommerce platform would be ideal
  • Providing / requesting dashboard development for management and monitoring.
