A Freight Forwarding vacancy has become available for a market leading logistics company based just north of Bristol. The company are truly dominating their space, specialising in European road freight and working with some of Europe's largest manufactures, completing hundreds of consignments per day. Due to increasing customer demand and a growing client portfolio, established from over 20 years of trading, an additional Freight Forwarder is required to service customers and manage key accounts. Your main duties will lie within European road movements, however as a Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder you will also have the opportunity to manage air and ocean shipments globally.

The Role:

• Manage Air, Ocean and Road freight.
• Provide quotations to clients.
• Account management of key clients.
• Recommend the best solution to meet customer needs.
• Accurately complete job bookings from international customers and process as required.
• Work closely with the sales team to maximise opportunities with both existing and new clients.
• Commercial & Competitor analysis, actively seek gaps in the market.

The Requirements:

• Experience: 2 Years within Freight Forwarding, Logistics or Commercial Transport Management.
• Previous experience with international distribution.
• Able to effectively communicate between departments and with key stakeholders.
• Understanding of transport legislation's and able to confidently advise clients on this.
• Thrive in a target driven role with the ability to work to time constraints.
• Strong organisational and forward-thinking skills.
• IT Literate with Microsoft Applications and adaptable to learn company specific systems.

• Bristol Based
• £24,000 - £28,000 DOE + Bonus
• 28 Days Holiday
